Okay..!!

So this is my first blog and I'm basing this on the 'Windows Phone' the phone that had a lot of reviews both pros and cons. This phone was started off as being the only phone of its type to support live tiles but while Microsoft told it to be a phone that showed off your personal taste anybody who used the phone will know that it is one of the least customizable phones out there.

But don't worry.... There have been many third party apps that allows us customization options..

1)#tileart

The Halo themed #tileart customization

 This app was created by Ricc Webb a.k.a The Tile Art Guy (thanks for bringing this app to us :D) who works with the microsoft team.

It basically allows you to pin tiles that contain images. On opening the app you will figure out everything as it has an easy user friendly interface.

As you can see from the screenshots in my phone,the app allows us to pin tiles of images. It supports both PNG and JPG file types...The PNG file type allows the user to pin tiles that are transparent and allow to see the background (the Assassin pictures adopted from the famous game by Ubisoft) and the JPG file type pins the picture hiding the background (the NVIDIA logo image was a JPG file type so if you look carefully you will see that it is hiding the background).

2) Skyward Apps(Circle Tile Pack)

Are you bored with the square tiles that keep flipping and want some of those circular icons like in Android..??

Well then the Circular Tile Pack from Skward Arts is the solution. It cannot create circular tiles for all apps. But it supports a fair amount of icons. The maker has provided other Tile packs also like the Candy Tile Pack, Shadow Tile Pack and others but they const some money. So if you are willing ot spend some money in order to customize your phone. You can go ahead and do it. But I think the Circle Tile Pack should do the trick.

• By The Way..I have written a review with the #tileart app telling them to allow us to use custom images for the tiles of 'messaging' , 'people' and 'phone'... Please do the same if you too want it, I am sure they will add the feature if a lot of people tell them..
